In the fall of 2007, I decided to make a gift for a friend so we sat down together and discussed what he wanted in the way of a magical Tool. He spoke about needing a Tool that would generate the Kethric Brilliance for use in his ritual Circle and I started pondering how best to accomplish this goal with my usual materials of quartz crystal, metallic wire and cardboard. What emerged was The Radiator, the most powerful and beautiful Tool I have ever created. :)

After making The Radiator, I shipped it off to my friend and had only peripheral interaction with it until this year (2011) when my friend died and I was tasked with retrieving it and a few other magical Tools from his estate. Only then did I really get the chance to experience the power of The Radiator first hand and understand its profound usefulness within a ritual Circle. Its power is far, far beyond my wildest dreams…

The Radiator automatically generates and radiates a continuous stream of Kethric Brilliance which, when enclosed within a magical Circle, becomes so dense and so intense it can easily be perceived by the uninitiated and those who are normally insensitive to subtle energies. In fact, during one recent ritual use, it created so much Kethric Brilliance within the Circle that all the quartz crystals present began to "sing" (I.e., to emit an audible tone)!

The strength of this radiant effect is the result of The Radiator's physical structure in conjunction with the physio-astra-mental tuning of its quartz components. The basic shape of The Radiator is a 'truncated octahedron' -- a 14 sided geometric solid composed of 8 hexagons and 6 squares -- ten sides of which (2 of the squares and all 8 of the hexagons) are each pierced by a double-terminated clear quartz crystal and four sides (the remaining squares) which are completely empty. Each of these double-terminated quartz crystals physically touches a central clear quartz sphere and together they suspend this sphere at the exact center point of The Radiator. Furthermore, buried within each of the 36 edges of the truncated-octahedron is a combination of copper and gold wire, essentially forming an interconnected metallic skeleton that assures the Electro-Magnetic homogenization of The Radiator's energetics.

This physical structure alone, without any tuning of the quartz crystals, will automatically draw a modest amount of ambient energy into the central sphere and radiate it outward, but this energy will be of low quality for magical work and of insufficient quantity for any important tasks. When the crystals are tuned however, the quantity of energy generated is many, many magnitudes greater and the quality is rendered suitable for all magical operations no matter how sublime.

The Radiator's 10 double-terminated quartz crystals are each tuned to the essential meaning of one the Kabbalistic Tree of Life's Sephirot, specifically to the Sephirot of the Gra Tree of Life pattern, and the central quartz sphere is tuned to the Kethric Brilliance itself (the most sublime magical 'energy'). By tuning the crystals in this way, The Radiator becomes capable of generating a continuous stream of the Kethric Brilliance which can then be employed as the magician wishes.

Since The Radiator functions continuously (I.e., there's no 'off switch') it must be energetically shrouded when not in use. So, in addition to the display stand (pictured), The Radiator also comes with an attractive enclosing box (not pictured) within the walls of which is embedded a grid of copper wire and turquoise. This copper and turquoise grid keeps The Radiator's radiant energy confined so that it will not affect its environment and serves as an effective energetic shroud or 'off switch'.

Using The Radiator is very simple: Merely remove its box cover and direct the resulting Kethric Brilliance as desired. And when you are finished, simply replace its cover. :)

The Radiator is technically very difficult and complicated to construct. It took me two months of 8-10 hour days (over 500 hours labor) to create the original Radiator and since my life is fuller now, I can only promise to ship a completed Radiator four months after receiving an order. It may take me less time depending upon my schedule and how quickly I can procure the necessary crystals, but I will only guarantee a four month time span. The waiting time though is well rewarded! :)
